INAR Research Infrastructure science meeting

7.–10.4.2025, Sotkamo, Finland

Welcome to the 2nd INAR Research Infrastructures scientific meeting

The Finnish research infrastructures working on environment and atmosphere-ecosystem interactions (i.e. INAR RI, which is an umbrella for the national nodes of ACTRIS, AnaEE, eLTER and ICOS) are organising the 2nd scientific meeting on April 7–10, 2025, in Vuokatti, which will be held together with the traditional Pallas symposium. The Pallas symposium brings together research related to Pallas and other subarctic/arctic infrastructures.

The meeting aims to share knowledge and empower the Finnish research community working with climate change, air quality, biogeochemical cycles, biodiversity and their interactions. The program will consist of participant presentations, posters, keynotes of invited speakers and workshops on various topics, such as data management and collaboration between the networks and infrastructures. An excursion to LUMI supercomputer in Kajaani will be organised.

Although organized by INAR RI (Integrated Atmospheric and Earth System Research Infrastructure) jointly with the Pallas Symposium, the meeting is open to all who are interested in these topics and not limited to those directly involved with the participating research infrastructures.
