Event information
As a versatile seminar event, Rata event has become a popular meeting and networking event for the entire rail industry. The target group of the Rata event are all rail transport professionals, those interested in railways, and students. Rata 2025 takes place on February 11-12, 2025 at Tampere Hall (Tampere, Finland). The theme of 2025 is attractive rail traffic.
Approximately 1000-1200 participants and 70 exhibitors are expected to participate the Rata 2025. The event celebrates its 25th anniversary, as the first Rata seminar was organized in 2000.

Tampere Hall is easy to reach. It has a perfect location in the center of Tampere, just 500 meters from the bus station and railway station. Please see the detailed arrival info from the website of Tampere Hall.
Exhibition area at Tampere Hall is Sorsapuistosal, Puistolämpiö 1 and Winter Garden Foyer.
Entrance and badges
The entrance to the event is the main entrance of Tampere Hall (Yliopistonkatu 55). From the main lobby, each exhibitors' representative receives a personal badge, which must be kept visible throughout the event, including during construction and dismantling. When you arrive at Tampere Hall, please register first at the registration desk at the lobby area, where you will get your badge as well.
If the amount of representatives arriving to your stand exceeds the included two (2) person entrance to the event, the exceeding amount of persons will need a paid seminar ticket bought through the participant registration form.
Parking
The closest parking options to Tampere Hall are P-Tampere-talo (entrance from Åkerlundinkatu, exit to Varastokatu) and P-Sairaalakatu, which serves as an additional parking area for Tampere Hall on the other side of Kalevantie. In addition, there are a few paid parking spaces in the backyard of the Tampere Hall.

Deliveries and pick-ups
It is possible to deliver goods and equipment to Tampere Hall before the event, at the earliest from 8.00 on Monday morning (10 Feb). Goods and equipment must be picked up by 18.00 on Wednesday (12 Feb). The address for all deliveries at Tampere Hall is Viinikankatu 2, 33100 Tampere.
All deliveries of goods must be indicated with the following recipient and address markings:

Accommodation
Accommodation quotas have been reserved for Rata 2025 from central hotels of Tampere for February 10-12, 2025. Exhibitors' representatives book and pay for their accommodation themselves. Break room for exhibitors
A meeting room called Sopraano (2. floor) is reserved for exhibitors use as a back office for relaxing, working and breaks. The room is available throughout the event.
Logo / brand visibility at the stand
The stand package includes the exhibitor's logo/brand visibility on the back wall of the stand. As an additional service, logo/brand visibility can also be implemented on the info desk and on the entire surface of the back wall. The printable logo/brand file (preferably a vectorized pdf file) is sent by 22 November 2024 via the upload folder below or via email rata2025@tapahtumantekijat.fi .

Catering services for the stand
All catering for the exhibition stands is ordered from the restaurants of Tampere Hall by the exhibitor. Self-imported products cannot be served in the Tampere Hall premises, except for branded products for companies. Tampere Hall restaurants have all the rights for serving food and alcohol in the premises.
Catering orders for stand must be placed no later than 30 days before the event, by 7 January 2025.
We encourage all exhibitors to serve small snacks and drinks at their stands, especially during the evening event on Tuesday 11 February. Serving alcohol is allowed only during the evening event on Tuesday 11 February at 17.00–19.30.
Please place the catering orders for stand directly to Tampere Hall restaurants via an electronic ordering form or via e-mail: ravintola@tampere-talo.fi .

Dismantling
The exhibition will be dismantled after the end on Wednesday, 12 February starting at 14.30. Stands may not be dismantled before the event has ended.
Open Wlan
Tampere Hall has wireless network free of charge. Fixed internet connections for the stand can be ordered as an additional product via the additional order form by 22 November 2024.
Rata 2025 mobile app
Rata 2025 has its own mobile application, which can be downloaded from App Store, or Google Play Store. Mobile application is an essential tool for everyone participating in the congress. From the app the participants can see the full program, exhibitors, search presenters, and furthermore connect with other participants and send direct messages.
It is also possible to use the application without registering to the system. But please note, that if you want to connect with other participants via the application, you must create your own profile in the system.
We will inform about download and login instructions closer to the event. We recommend having the mobile application already before the event.
