Invitation to Finland Business Week on 17 – 18 March 2025 in Lusaka and Zambia Mining and Energy Conference on 19 – 20 March 2025 in Kitwe

The Embassy of Finland in Lusaka warmly welcomes Finnish companies to the annual Finland Business Week on 17 – 18 March 2025 in Lusaka, Zambia.

‘FinnBizWeek’ supports stronger partnerships, increased market access and knowledge exchange between Zambia and Finland. The upcoming event offers opportunities for meetings, networking and industrial visits, especially in the sectors of mining and energy and related services, but companies from other sectors are also welcome.

FinnBizWeek will be held on the same week as the Zambia Mining and Energy Conference on 19 – 20 March in Kitwe Garden Court Hotel. During the week, the Embassy of Finland and the Zambia Chamber of Commerce and Industry will organize meetings with local businesses and government officials for Finnish companies in Lusaka and Kitwe. Visits to mines and energy sector sites can be organized after the conference in the Copperbelt and North Western Province on the 21 - 22 March.

Wednesday 19 March	Opening of the ZIMEC25 in Kitwe Opportunity for B2B meetings in Kitwe or Lusaka
Thursday 20 March	ZIMEC25 continues Opportunity for B2B meetings in Kitwe or Lusaka
Friday 21 March	Site visits organized in the Copperbelt
Saturday 22 March	Possibility for site visits in North Western Province Possibility to fly back to Lusaka from Solwezi

Participation in the events organized by the Embassy is free of charge, but companies must cover their own travel and accommodation costs (including travelling within Lusaka and Zambia). You may ask for travel and accommodation advice from the organizers. If you are planning to travel inside Zambia (to Kitwe and/or Solwezi), we advice you to book the flights from Proflight well in advance as there are only a few flights available per day.

The Embassy will organize an online information session on Thursday 30.1.2025 at 10:00 for interested companies.
