Registration: HelsinkiUNI Career Day recruitment event 24.1.2024
Are you hiring summer workers or trainees or looking for recent graduates for your trainee programme? Are there topics or data in your organisation that students could utilize in their theses? If you answered yes to any of these, take part in the university's Career Day recruitment event. Share with our students what kind of expertise you are looking for and what kinds of open positions you have.
Time: 24 January 2025, 9 am - 2 pm
Target group: students and recent graduates of all our faculties. Get to know the university's international degree programmes.
Place: virtual platform
The event offers:
- visibility for job and traineeship opportunities as well as for the company as an employer in the JobTeaser job portal and student marketing.
- an opportunity to pitch the organisation’s career opportunities on a shared platform
- possibility to meet students virtually
- and, as a new option, also present the topics and data which students could use in their thesis.
Visibility and employer branding:
Each participant will have its own employer profile on the university's JobTeaser portal and will be involved in targeted student marketing.
Pitching, 9 - 12 am, joint zoom webinar platform
Employers will be invited to pitch their career opportunities to students. Each organisation will have 7 - 10 min depending on the number of participants.
Meet the students, options:
- Q&A sessions
at 12:15 - 1:45 pm, organisation's own virtual platform (45 min)
Employers can hold a separate Q&A session to answer students' questions or to present more extensively on open job and internship opportunities and their organisation as an employer. - one-to-one meetings
at 9 am - 2 pm, organsation's own virtual platform (15 min/student)
Employers can also meet the students by one-to-one appointment if they wish. The five-hour period can be used in full or in part. - Theses topics and data
at 12:15 – 1:45 pm, organisation’s own virtual platform (45 min)
Organisations can present the topics and data which students could use in their theses and answer students’ questions.
Career Services will market the event to students, organise a joint pitch session, open Q&A sessions and set the basis for appointments for JobTeaser company profiles. Up to 20 companies can participate.
Register for Career Day by 5.12. Up to 20 companies can participate. Career Services confirms the place in the event at the latest after the end of the registration period.
