City of Oulu participate in Expo 2025 Osaka as a silver partner of Nordic Pavilion. Following this, BusinessOulu organize the Oulu Business Delegation for Expo 2025 Osaka. We offer several event opportunities at Nordic Pavilion and other places outside Expo area in Tokyo and Osaka, and more benefits, aiming at helping open the door to Japanese market and promoting Oulu region altogether.

Basic information:

• Date of the delegation program: 2 (Mon) to 6 (Fri) Jun 2025
  (Arrive to Japan until 1 Jun and leave Japan after 7 Jun)
• Participation fee of the Oulu Business Delegation: Free
  (Participants need to cover all your travel costs and your own costs)
• Theme: Connectivity in any kinds of industries
• Number of participating companies: Max 5-8 companies locating in Northern Ostrobothnia region (Max 2 people per company)
• Schedule & Key events:
  2 Jun (Mon): Own time (AM), Side event in Tokyo (PM), move to Osaka (evening)
  3 Jun (Tue): Explore Expo 2025 Osaka (AM/PM), Side event in Osaka (late PM to evening)
  4 Jun (Wed): Main event “Oulu day” at Nordic Pavilion (all day)
  5 Jun (Thu): Possible opportunity for individual B-to-B meetings or own time (all day)
  6 Jun (Fri): Japanese company visit (AM, option), Side event in Osaka (late PM to evening)
  ** Program contents for all the planned events will be built based upon needs of our delegation participants and discussions.
